How to Become an Agency Partner
The Mission of United Way of Utah County is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities. The United Way of Utah County is committed to community impact, therefore, we specifically look for agencies that are focused on specific community needs and strategies so that our investments can have the greatest impact.
Although we recognize that there are many pressing community needs, in order to maximize our impact, our efforts target three areas: preparing children to succeed in school and beyond, creating a cohesive community and building financially stable families.
United Way of Utah County gets many requests for funding, however, the number of agencies that are admitted is very limited.
Each agency undergoes a significant volunteer review on an annual basis to determine its effectiveness and adherence to United Way's area of focus. Agencies receive funding from United Way based on the evaluations from that review. Agencies will need to demonstrate that their programs are already actively collaborating with agencies/ programs in the community as a way to ensure efficiency and non-duplicative services. Programs must have accountability measures in place to track results.
In order for an agency to be eligible to be considered as a United Way Utah County Agency Partner it must meet certain eligibility criteria:
