The Habitat ReStore is a division of Habitat for Humanity of Utah County. The Restore’s mission is to generate revenue through the sale of donated, reclaimed and purchased building materials, appliances, furniture and tools to support the activities of Habitat for Humanity of Utah County.
The Director is responsible for the overall operations of the ReStore and formally represents the ReStore at public events, community events, and the local donor community for materials sold through the ReStore.

*Important Notice* This job opening is for a job share position between Recreation and Habilitation Services (RAH) and Utah Valley Paratransit (UVP). Please refer to the attached JOB SHARE NOTICE for additional instructions and information.
Schedule: Part-time, 15-25 hours per week, depending on position and individual schedule.Varied shifts, Tuesday - Saturday. Applicants must be available Tue-Fri 1:00pm - evenings and Saturday daytimes, approximately 2 times per month. Sunday and Mondays off.
Duties: Supervise, organize and participate in activities and programs for individuals with developmental and/or physical disabilities. Provide positive role modeling and peer support to program participants.
Transport program participants in Utah Valley Paratransit / UTA passenger vans.
Requirements & Qualifications: Class "C" CDL Drivers License w/ Passenger Endorsement Required. *In some situations certification may be completed during first 2 weeks of employment. MUST BE 24 YEARS OR OLDER AND HAVE A CLEAR DRIVING RECORD. (No D.U.I.s and no moving violations within 3 years) *Slight exceptions may be made. Please provide a copy of your current driving record at the time of application. *Copies of your current record can be obtained from any Utah Drivers License Division office Must be able to work effectively with individuals who have disabilities. Good communication skills required. Must be able to speak, read & write in English. Must have the ability to plan programs and follow through with assigned activities. Must have good driving skills and be familiar with Utah County cities and addresses. Must have High School diploma or equivalent. Related experience and/or education is helpful but is not required.
RAH Pay Rate: $8.50 per hour following training/probationary period. *U.V.P. wages vary from RAH wages.
Other: This position may qualify as an educational internship for Youth Leadership, Recreation Therapy, Recreation Management or other related fields of study.

DRIVING JOB SHARE NOTICE:
The Recreation Leader / Driver opening is a job share position between Recreation and Habilitation Services (RAH) and Utah Valley Paratransit (UVP).
Although employee schedules and assignments will be coordinated exclusively through RAH, when driving the passenger vans staff will be employed and paid by UVP. (*UVP pay rates differ slightly from those listed on the RAH Job Posting)
This job share requires that you apply in person at UVP in addition to submitting an application with RAH.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Once you have confirmed that you are eligible for the position (age, schedule, qualifications, etc) and have submitted your application to RAH, you will need to complete an application process with UVP.
Please go to the Utah Valley Paratransit Office, fill out an application and a pre-employment screening test, then schedule an interview with Lopini Wolfgramm, UVP Director. Please allow at least 45 minutes to complete the necessary paperwork.

Job Title: Children's Program Staff
Duties and Responsibilities: Assessment, planning and weekly staffing of children with the children's team; implementation of therapeutic services for children; instruction, mentoring and monitoring mothers as they interact with the children; charting appropriately the information and activities observed on each child; appropriately communicating any and all critical information regarding the children or program to a supervisor.
Qualifications and requirements: High School diploma or GED equivalency, 21 years of age, background investigation including fingerprints, sign/abide by Code of Conduct, current CPR/First Aid Certification, at least 5 years of sobriety if recovering alcholic/addict. Also must be able to maintain confidentiality, establish and maintain effective working relationships with others including drug and alcohol abusers, able to perform duties without hazard to self or others, have a working knowledge of child development, expectations and common problems for children from dysfunctional homes. Preference will be give to individuals who have experience working in a alcohol/drug treatment program.
Hours: 8:15 am to 3:30 pm, Mon-Fri

The Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic advocates for low-income taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in audits, appeals, collection issues, and federal cases that need to go to court. It also educates members of the community about their tax right and responsibilities.
Position Description:
- Coordinates cases
- Trains and supervises clinic tax preparers.
- Oversees the operation of the clinic
- Responsible for preparing and reviewing required reports
- Maintains communication with other clinics state and nation wide.
- Attends annual conference in Washington D.C. in December
- Attends state meetings
- Builds a pro bono panel for the clinic
- Refers qualifying cases to pro-bono specialists
- Primary contact with LITC program office and the Local Taxpayer Advocate’s office
- Reports to Executive Director
- Follows organization’s guidelines and procedures.
- Helps with grantwriting.
Requirements:
- Excellent organization skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Solve problems related to the controversy with the IRS
- Prepares taxes for past years for clients
- Evaluates past tax returns for possible errors
- Advocate for clients with the Internal Revenue Service
- Keeps track of client information and progress on cases to generate reports required by agency.
- Under the supervision of clinic coordinator works follows procedures on tax advocacy
- Creates in-take file for every client
- Answers questions about rights and responsibilities of tax payers
- Reports to clinic coordinator on case progress
- Keeps track of working hours, mileage, and reports them to supervisor
- Attends staff meetings and training offered by the organization

Early Head Start
Job Description: Child and Family Development Specialist
Qualifications:
The Early Head Start Child and Family Development Specialist must have at a minimum a Bachelor's Degree in Child Development, Social Work, or a related field with three years of home visiting experience. Knowledge of infant/child development and family relationships with skill in home visitation and parent education. Knowledge of best practice services for children with disabilities.
The Child and Family Development Specialist must pass a Background Criminal Investigation, provide own reliable transportation, an acceptable driving record, valid driver’s license and verification of car insurance. Ability to become certified in CPR, First aid, and Food Handler=s (at KOTM expense). Have proof of current immunization, including TB. Willing to work variable hours, including some evenings and Saturdays.
Responsibilities:
The Child and Family Development Specialist ensures consistent, credible, quality direct services by EHS Family Educators, with a focus on cognitive and social-emotional development, curriculum, and service delivery.
The Child and Family Development Specialist is responsible for Supervision and monitoring the work of the seven Family Educators and will implement and improve systems and philosophy for all of the areas of responsibility, including:
- Reflective Supervision of Family Educators
- Identify staff training needs individually and for the group
- Ensure that program activities are carried out in compliance with federal Head Start Performance Standards, particularly home visiting and disabilities services.
- Demonstrate leadership and active involvement in program development for continual program improvement.
- Ensure quality implementation of the KOTM Performance Management system in the EHS program with the Family Educators.
- Assist in staffing/family assignments.
- Lead Discovery Group planning and facilitation.
- Maintain organization of materials.
- Conduct mid-year check and annual performance review for supervisees.
- Observe supervisees as they perform their responsibilitie
- Review Children's Developmental Summaries and Family Strengths Summaries in order to ensure referral to appropriate resources, support Family Educators in direct services, and for planning program services.
