Domestic Violence Coalition

Purpose: In cooperation with the Division of Child and Family Services, develops and reviews domestic violence policies and procedures.
· Recommends and supports legal and legislative action.
· Fosters cooperation and coordination with other agencies and individuals in the community who are responsible for or contribute to services to individuals involved in domestic violence.
· Advocates for the availability and accessibility of domestic violence services.

General Membership: Composed of individuals representing the various agencies and community groups with expertise or concern in the area of domestic violence; i.e. DCFS, Victims Advocates, Treatment Agencies, etc.

Mtg. Schedule: Last Tuesday of the month; 12:00 @ the Orem Safety Building.

Open or Closed to Public: Closed to the public; open to those meeting general membership guidelines.
