United Way of Utah County makes it easy to donate items
to local nonprofit and public agencies in our community. Donations can
be brought to 148 N 100 W in Provo between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday
through Friday. A staff member will assist you. United Way will distribute
your donation to the organization that needs it most, or a local organization
of your choice. A receipt will be provided for tax purposes.
Gifts-in-Kind
Businesses can donate new office supplies and furniture or any number
of items to be used by local nonprofit organizations. Please contact
the United Way Volunteer Center to coordinate before delivery. Or
use our
online donation form to let know what you want to donate and when
it will be available.
Items to Collect and Donate

nonprofit agencies to better assist people in our community. For more

Food
Food donations should be delivered directly to the Community Action Food Bank at 815 S. Freedom Blvd. in Provo between 8:30 a.m.
and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Canned goods, as well as fresh items
can be donated, however for health precautions, food must be commercially
packaged. Food donations will then be distributed to satellite food pantries
throughout the region.
Used Clothing
These items can be delivered directly to Deseret Industries. This is the
most efficient organization for cleaning and sorting used clothing. In
addition, many agencies give vouchers to people in our community who qualify
for free or reduced-price items at Deseret Industries. As individuals
and families chose what they like and pay even a small amount for it,
self- sufficiency and dignity is preserved.
Used Toys and Coats
The demand for these items depends upon the fluctuating needs of individuals
and families and available space at the facility. Please call first to
see if these items are needed.
