About United Way of Utah County Sub for Santa
United Way of Utah County Sub for Santa program is a temporary assistance program that provides Christmas gifts for children through sponsors and is designed to foster self-sufficiency by helping applicants learn different ways to manage their time, money and talents. The program is part of United Way of Utah County's focus on building financially stable families.
Families receiving assistance must apply and qualify for assistance through Sub for Santa. To be considered, a family must have at least one child between 18 months and 14 years of age. Numerous eligibility factors are considered, including income, expenses and individual disabilities, as well as other circumstances, such as recent unemployment.
