What We’re Doing

  • Providing information to parents and caregivers on child development and early education
  • Supporting early intervention programs for children with disabilities or delays
  • Supplying basic necessities to elementary school children to ensure that basic needs will not stand in the way of success in school
  • Helping parents prepare their children for school by distributing books to children

Results

  • Last year, 76 volunteers helped 155 first-time parents become better equipped to raise successful children.
  • More than 1,000 children improved their physical, social and emotional development through early intervention programs.
  • School performance improved for 650 children as basic needs such as clothing, dental, optical and medical help were provided.
  • 5, 395 new books were distributed to children who have no books.
