Neighbor-to-Neighbor Response
Get Involved
Everyone is needed to reach out in whatever way they can. Give a financial contribution, stand up and advocate by organizing a neighborhood drive or volunteer at a local nonprofit.
GIVE
- 100% of donations made to United Way go back to helping the community. By designating your donation to building financially stable families, you will be directly helping community members impacted by the current economic situation. It’s easy to give, drop off your donation at 148 N. 100 West or donate online. To donate online select "Another United Way or Project" and enter "Neighbor-to-Neighbor Response" in the corresponding field.
- Gifts in kind are another great way to give to the community. Drop off items at United Way, and we will ensure they go to those who need them most.
ADVOCATE
- Organize a neighborhood drive. Items currently with a high demand are baby products such as diapers, wet wipes, formula and baby food. Other items include toilet paper, canned food, high-protein items and vegetables.
- Talk to your neighbors about the current economic solution. Do your part to ensure everyone is aware of how simple it is for them to make an impact.
- Write a letter to the editor discussing the importance of supporting this effort and encouraging others to get involved.
VOLUNTEER
- Volunteer your time by working with one of the opportunities that will specifically benefit those affected by the economic crisis. To find out what opportunities are available, click here
