Provo, UTAH (May 25, 2009)
– United Way of Utah County was recently chosen as a finalist for United Way of America’s “Best of” video for 2008.

As a result, a film crew from United Way of America traveled to Utah County to shoot the stories of two local volunteers who advocate in United Way’s education focus area for next year’s national LIVE UNITED video.

Mary Crafts, owner of Culinary Crafts and United Way board member, and Eric Vogeler, a recent BYU law school graduate who helped with two student charity balls raising more than $30,000, were both filmed doing advocacy work for United Way of Utah County. She is also a member of Women in Philanthropy.

Production and creative services for United Way of Utah County’s 2008 campaign video was donated by Issimo Productions, and can be seen at http://unitedwayuc.org/for_companies/campaign_video_08.html.

Lucinda Stevens, also a member of Women in Philanthropy, is featured on the United Way of Utah County video.
