NieNie is Recapturing Beauty

Women in Utah County: NieNie is coming! And if you’re not inspired by her yet, you will be.

Brigham Young University’s Women’s Services is launching a new campaign called Recapturing Beauty. Wonderful. I believe that Stephanie Nielson (or NieNie) is the perfect person to do this.

If you haven’t heard of this amazing woman before, visit her blog, the NieNie Dialogues. She is a very creative blogger with quite the fan following. In 2008, she and her husband were in an airplane crash and over 80% of her body was burned. After enduring a coma and many lifestyle changes, she has continued to blog and inspire others with her strength.

With all of the different pressures from society to “be beautiful,” many women struggle with this concept. Take a look at yourself and recognize your talents, strengths and true beauty.
