New Spice: Going Viral
You may have seen this New Spice Commercial:
This was posted on YouTube on Thursday. It now has over 1 million views. How can someone post something and have it become a sensation overnight? In our age of technology, if you post something, it can go viral instantly. You may remember such hits as "Charlie bit my finger" or "Wedding entrance dance." Social media can make any regular Joe a celebrity the next day. It can also spread powerful messages instantly, for no (or low) cost. That's one reason why nonprofit organizations, like yours truly, rely on social media. With limited resources, and the popularity of social media sites like Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter, various organizations are infusing their messages of goodwill through the internet. We're hoping that it will reach all with just a few clicks. We're also hoping our APX Gives Back message has reached you. APX is looking to give $100,000 to a nonprofit organization, and has posted a challenge to vote for an organization every day on Facebook. You can participate by voting for United Way of Utah County in the Mountain region here. Let's make this the next big sensation: help this go viral and propel goodwill!
